ClassMind is designed for UK primary school teachers. Teachers should minimise pupil data, use initials or neutral references where possible, and review every AI-generated output before use.

5. AI processing

ClassMind uses the Anthropic Claude API to generate your teaching resources. When you generate content, the prompt content needed for that resource — such as school name, year group, topic and notes you provide — is sent to Anthropic's API for processing.

Report writing is designed to avoid sending full pupil names to the AI API. Teachers should not include safeguarding, medical, family, attendance, behaviour or other sensitive pupil details in prompts or uploaded text.

You can review Anthropic's privacy policy at anthropic.com/privacy.

For a school-facing summary, see our AI Safety and Data Protection page.
